Most salons land between $24 and $48. Standard covers a single service provider, and the moment a second one takes bookings you are on Gold at $48/mo billed annually.

Add the flat 2.6% card rate on every transaction, $40/month + $6/seat if you run payroll through GlossGenius, and the plan price less 15% for each location after the first.

GlossGenius splits its pricing page into two plan tabs. Beauty & Wellness carries Standard, Gold and Platinum. Medspa & Aesthetics carries Practice Essentials and Practice Advanced. All five are published prices, per business, per month.

Standard is described as "Essential tools for businesses just starting out" and includes the booking site, unlimited client notifications, email and text marketing, Inventory & Retail Management and Packages & Memberships (NEW). Gold is badged Most popular and sold for "businesses up to 9 staff". Platinum adds team goals and analytics, customizable commissions and 2500 text credits.

GlossGenius states the annual saving as 14% on Gold and 12% on Platinum. In dollars: Standard saves $4 a month, $48 a year. Gold saves $8 a month, $96 a year. Platinum saves $20 a month, $240 a year. Practice Advanced saves $50 a month, $600 a year.

Those savings only exist if you commit for the year up front, so the honest comparison for a business testing the software is the monthly column: $28, $56, $168, $168 and $298.

Twizzlo Business Pro is $29.99 a month on either basis, because there is no annual commitment to discount.

No. GlossGenius's own FAQ states it "offers a free 14-day trial for new customers". After 14 days the cheapest paid tier is Standard at $24/mo billed annually, $28 billed monthly.

Twizzlo has a permanent free plan instead of a trial.

GlossGenius charges a flat 2.6% per card transaction on every plan, with no Tap to Pay, card on file or manual entry fee. That is a genuinely clear number, and it is the same on Standard as on Practice Advanced.

Two payout terms sit beside it. Same-business-day payouts are free, but only Monday to Thursday. Instant payouts cost an additional 1.8% on top of the 2.6%, so an instant payout runs at 4.4% of the transaction.

Twizzlo runs card payments through Stripe, so you pay Stripe's own rates, plus a 1.5% Twizzlo platform fee on top of them. Twizzlo publishes no single blended percentage, so a reader cannot line it up against 2.6% without knowing their own Stripe rate.

Payroll is $40 per month per account plus $6 per seat, on top of the plan price. GlossGenius does not publish what counts as a seat, and does not say whether the $40 base recurs once per business or once per location, so no total on this page assumes either.

GlossGenius also lists a 50% discount on Tap & Go readers as a plan benefit. Twizzlo takes payments and tips online through Stripe.

GlossGenius's footnote under Compare plans reads: "*Each additional location is charged the plan price, at a 15% discount." So location count, not staff count, is what moves the bill once you pass one site.

On Gold billed annually, that is $48.00 for the first location and $48.00 × 0.85 = $40.80 for each one after it. Two locations is $88.80 a month, three is $129.60, four is $170.40.

Twizzlo Business Pro is $29.99 a month flat at every one of those counts, because locations are not in the formula.

Six staff sits inside the Gold ceiling of nine, so this is a Gold business. First location: $48.00 billed annually. Each additional location: $48.00 × 0.85 = $40.80. Two additional locations: $81.60. Subscription total: $48.00 + $81.60 = $129.60 a month billed annually.

On monthly billing the same salon is $56.00 + ($56.00 × 0.85 × 2) = $56.00 + $95.20 = $151.20 a month.

Twizzlo Business Pro is $29.99 a month flat for the same six staff and three locations. The gap is $99.61 a month on annual billing and $121.21 on monthly billing, before card processing on either side.

At one location with one service provider, GlossGenius Standard billed annually is $24.00 a month against Twizzlo Business Pro at $29.99, so GlossGenius is $5.99 a month cheaper. On paid plans, that is the only configuration where GlossGenius wins on subscription price. A solo provider under 150 bookings a month can also use Twizzlo Free at $0, without SMS.

A second service provider means Gold at $48.00 billed annually, which is $18.01 a month more than Twizzlo Business Pro. The crossover is the second service provider, not a revenue number.

Every location after that widens the gap by $40.80 a month on Gold billed annually, while Twizzlo stays at $29.99.
