Booking software pricing by team size: flat rate vs per-seat tools

Many booking tools charge for each team member or calendar, or move you to a higher tier as you hire. Business Pro is flat-rate booking software: $29.99 a month per business whether you have 1 staff member or 10. • Fresha: $19.95 is the single-calendar Independent plan; teams pay $14.95 a month per team member.
• Booksy: one team member included at $29.99 a month plus tax, then $20 a month for each additional member.
• Vagaro: the $23.99 base price is marked "Only for a limited time" by Vagaro; each additional employee calendar is $10 a month for up to seven licenses.
• GlossGenius: Standard ($28) has no multiple service provider booking, Gold ($56) covers up to 9 staff and Platinum is $168. Annual billing is lower: $24, $48 and $148.
• Acuity Scheduling: Starter ($20, 1 calendar) sends email reminders, SMS reminders start on Standard ($34, up to 6 calendars) and Premium ($61) covers up to 36 calendars. Annual billing is lower.

Payment and SMS fees: what you pay beyond the subscription

Your subscription is one part of the bill. When you take online payments, Stripe charges its own processing rate and Twizzlo adds a 1.5% platform fee. Our payment processing guide explains both fees and account eligibility.

Business Pro: 50 messages included per month, then $0.03 per additional message. Free: no SMS.
